Fitting warranty
If a part we fitted stops working because of our fitting (for example a loose connector, a clip not seated or a mirror that rattles), bring the car back and we'll put it right at no charge.
Parts warranty
Parts we sell are tested before they leave the shop and come with a parts warranty. The period depends on the part and whether it's new or ex-Japan, and we write it on your receipt so there's never any doubt. If a covered part fails within that period, we'll repair it, replace it with the same part, or refund you if we can't replace it.
What's not covered
- Damage from accidents, knocks, theft attempts or vandalism.
- Water damage, or damage from car washes that force folding mirrors by hand.
- Electrical parts fitted by someone else, or parts that have been opened or modified.
- Faults in your car's wiring, fuses or switches that we didn't work on.
- Normal cosmetic marks on ex-Japan parts that we showed you before you bought them.
Returns and exchanges
Changed your mind, or ordered the wrong part? You can return or exchange an unfitted part within 7 days, as long as:
- it's in the condition you received it, with nothing removed or damaged, and
- you have your receipt or order number.
Electrical parts that have been fitted elsewhere can't be returned, because we can't check how they were connected.
If we sent the wrong part
If we supply a part that doesn't match the car details you gave us, we'll exchange it or give you a full refund, and we'll cover the delivery cost to put it right.
How to make a claim or return
- Contact us with your receipt or order number and a short description or photo of the problem.
- Bring the car or the part to our shop in Roysambu, Nairobi, or we'll arrange collection if you're outside Nairobi.
- We check it, usually while you wait, and tell you the outcome: repair, replacement, exchange or refund.
Refunds
Approved refunds are paid by the method you used, usually M-Pesa, as soon as the returned part has been checked. Delivery fees are refunded when the return is because of our mistake.
Your legal rights
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Kenya's Consumer Protection Act, 2012. It doesn't take any of them away.
