About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or buy parts or services from Asumbi Auto Spares ("we", "us"). By placing an order or booking a fitting you agree to them. They don't take away any rights you have under Kenya's Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
Prices and quotes
- All prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and include any applicable taxes unless we say otherwise.
- Prices are for one part (for example one side mirror) unless the listing says "pair".
- Prices can change without notice. A quote we give you is valid for 7 days unless we say otherwise.
- If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we'll tell you before you pay and you can cancel.
Orders and confirming fitment
When you order, we check the part against your car's make, model, year and side before you pay. Mirrors and window parts differ by trim (manual or electric, folding, indicator, camera, number of pins), so please give us accurate details or a photo of the old part. We may cancel an order if the part is out of stock or doesn't fit; if you've already paid, we refund you in full.
Ex-Japan parts
Many of our parts are ex-Japan: original parts taken from Japanese-market cars. They are tested before sale and work as they should, but they may have minor cosmetic marks, and the colour may differ from your car. We'll tell you about anything noticeable before you buy.
Payment
You can pay by M-Pesa or cash when you collect, when your part is delivered, or as agreed with us. Parts remain our property until they are fully paid for.
Delivery and collection
Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the parts passes to you when you or someone you send collects them, or when they are delivered. See our Delivery Information page for details.
Fitting and repairs
- We tell you the price of the part and labour before we start work.
- Older cars can have hidden problems (rusted bolts, damaged wiring, broken door clips). If we find one, we'll explain it and agree any extra cost with you before going ahead.
- If you bring your own part, we'll fit it, but we can't give a parts warranty on it.
- Please remove valuables from your car. We take care of your vehicle while it's with us.

Your account
Keep your password private. You're responsible for orders placed through your account. We may close accounts that are used to misuse the website.
Photos and content
Product photos on this website belong to Asumbi Auto Spares and carry our watermark. Please don't copy them without permission.
Our liability
We're responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee, or for problems caused by parts fitted elsewhere, accidents or misuse. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Kenyan law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If we can't settle a disagreement by talking to each other, the courts of Kenya will decide it.
